Our weekly Book Club with Phonics offers a fun and engaging introduction to books, stories, and early reading skills. Each week, learners explore a carefully selected picture book alongside a new phonics sound, helping them develop a love of reading while building strong foundations in phonics and early literacy.

Through stories, songs, games, discussion, and hands-on activities, children are encouraged to listen, speak, recognise sounds, and begin making connections between letters, sounds, and words. The sessions are designed to be playful and interactive, allowing young learners to build confidence and participate at their own pace in a supportive small group environment.

This course combines storytelling and phonics to make early literacy enjoyable and memorable. Learners will explore characters, settings, vocabulary, and simple story ideas while practising phonics through songs, chants, games, drawing, and early writing activities. It is also ESL-friendly, supporting children from a variety of language backgrounds.
